We have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our team.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with the design of site layout, grading, storm water management, drainage, utilities and erosion control.
- Utilize engineering experience to solve issues related to existing or proposed infrastructure.
- Project design, planning, QC review, and budget tracking.
- Coordinate with and work with Municipalities and other approval bodies.
- Preparation of documents, drawings and reports from concept design through advanced technical design documentation (construction documents)
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with project team of designers and engineers to follow through with tasks and recommend solutions for completing design tasks.
- Recommend ways to improve process, quality, and coordination efforts.
- Visit job site to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress.
- Work under the advisement of a senior project engineer to support design efforts.
Who you are:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 3-5 years’ experience.
- Working towards professional licensure.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in land development design with experience in site development, grading, drainage, storm water management, and permitting.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to draft correspondence/reports and communicate effectively with project team members.
