Washington County Jail

New Facilities

The Washington County Jail Expansion project was a new Jail Addition to the existing County Law Enforcement Center, part of the County’s main Government Center.

The 73,000 SF expansion project consisted of four major components: a new 84 bed podular remote secure housing pod, a new 45 bed juvenile detention facility, a new facility support addition, and major remodeling of the existing 100 bed jail into a 208-bed secure dormitory facility (42,000 SF).
